The end of paperwork.Keep track ofyour jobswithout wasting hours at a desk.

Log your hours from the van and send invoices before you even get home.

How it works

Log it. Bill it. Done.

No accounting nonsense. Just tell Invok who the client is, what the job was, and the price.

  1. 01

    Log the work

Pick the client, say what you did, done. Hours, a day rate or a fixed price — with photos and a voice note attached if your hands are covered in soil.

    Takes about twenty seconds

  2. 02

    Build the invoice

Every unbilled job for that client is already waiting. Tick what goes on this one and Invok totals it, applies your VAT and gives it the next number in the run.

    No re-typing, no copy-paste

  3. 03

    Send the link

Send a PDF or a link they can open on their phone and pay by card. The invoice tracks itself from there — sent, viewed, part-paid, paid, or overdue.

    Ready when the job is

  4. 04

    Get paid

See exactly what’s been paid and what’s still outstanding, without chasing a spreadsheet at the end of the week.

Why Invok

Built for one trade, not for accountants.

Most tools in this space were designed for a bookkeeper and then shrunk onto a phone. Invok starts at the other end — the van, the job, the five minutes you have before the next one.

Invok
A spreadsheet
Accounting software
Logging a job on site
Invok — Your phone, about twenty seconds, mud and all.
Spreadsheet — Pinching and dragging a grid on a six-inch screen.
Accounting software — Built for a desk, a keyboard and a quiet hour.
Turning work into an invoice
Invok — Tick the jobs. It totals, applies VAT and numbers itself.
Spreadsheet — Copy, paste, and trust that the formula held.
Accounting software — Re-enter every line as a sales item first.
Knowing what you’re owed
Invok — A live balance on every client’s page, always current.
Spreadsheet — Whatever the last person to touch it typed.
Accounting software — Accurate — once everything has been reconciled.
Chasing a late payer
Invok — Overdue flags itself, and you’re nudged before it’s due.
Spreadsheet — You, on a Sunday night, from memory.
Accounting software — Usually there, often behind a higher tier.
What it asks of you
Invok — The three things you already know about the job.
Spreadsheet — Maintenance, forever, by you.
Accounting software — Ledgers, journals and a chart of accounts.

If you already have a bookkeeper, keep them. Invok is what you hand over at the end of the month — clean, itemised and already sent.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Still not sure? Start the trial — it costs nothing to find out, and you can cancel any time before it ends.

Do I need a card to start?

Free needs no card. Paid plans require a card and start with 14 days free. You choose a plan when you sign up and can change it whenever you like.

Do I need to understand bookkeeping?

No. Invok asks three things about a job: who it was for, what you did, and what it’s worth. There are no journals, no double entry and no chart of accounts anywhere in it. If you have an accountant, this is what you hand them at year end.

Can my client pay online?

Yes. Every invoice gets a link they can open on their phone and pay by card, plus a PDF they can download or print. Your bank details sit on the invoice too, for the ones who’d still rather transfer.

Will invoices look like mine, or like Invok’s?

Yours. Upload your logo, set your accent colour, and write your own payment terms and footer line. You can preview the exact PDF before a client ever sees one.

I’m VAT registered — is that handled?

Set your rate once and it’s applied and shown on every invoice. If you’re not registered, leave it off and VAT never appears anywhere on the document.

I already keep a spreadsheet. Do I have to move it across?

No, and there’s no import to sit through. Add your clients once, then log the next job in Invok instead of the sheet. Your old file stays exactly where it is as the record of what’s already been billed.

Does it work properly on a phone?

That’s the case it was built for. Logging a job, checking what a client owes and sending an invoice are all designed to be done standing in a garden, not sitting at a desk.

Who can see my data?

You. Every table is protected by row-level security in the database itself, so an account can only ever read its own business — that rule holds even if something above it goes wrong.

Get your evenings back.

Start on Free with no card, or get 14 days free on a paid plan. Log a week of jobs and send one real invoice — that’s usually enough to know.
